Duodenitis

Duodenitis is inflammation of the duodenum and as with gastritis can progress to erosion, ulceration and bleeding. Causes and treatment are the same for both disorders.

Patchy, diffuse redness is the most common finding.

Swelling inflammation and ulceration.

Ulcers of duodenal bulb can often be hidden between the folds.
