Ravi Ravinuthala, M.D.
Dr. Ravinuthala graduated from Rangaraya Medical
College in India and completed postgraduate medical training at
the
Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research
(PGIMER)
in Chandigarh, India. He obtained additional in the United
Kingdom (U.K.) and elected a Member
of Royal College of Physicians of United Kingdom (MRCP).
He trained in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at the
prestigious St. James University Hospital, Leeds, England.
In the United States, he completed Internal
Medicine Residency and Gastroenterology Fellowship at Henry Ford
Hospital, Detroit, Michigan.
He fulfilled a Transplant
Hepatology Fellowship at the Henry Ford Transplant Institute and
approved by United Network of Organ Sharing (UNOS) as a
Transplant Hepatologist.
Dr. Ravinuthala served on the
faculty as a full time liver specialist before he joined Greater
Cincinnati Gastroenterology Associates (GCGA). He also
taught gastroenterology fellows and performed clinical research
at Henry Ford. He continues to perform clinical research
at GCGA's research department, Consultants for Clinical
Research. He
is extensively trained in all complex aspects of liver disease
in addition to general gastroenterology.
Dr. Ravinuthala is the current President of the
Association of Indian Physicians of Greater Cincinnati. He is an
active member of the American Association for the Study of Liver
Disease, American Gastroenterology Association, American Society
of Transplantation, and Asia Pacific Association for the Study
of Liver Disease. Dr. Ravinuthala is Board Certified in Internal
Medicine and Gastroenterology.
